Bathsheba Bodice & Skirt
Far From The Madding Crowd

This red bodice and skirt was worn by Carey Mulligan as Bathsheba Everdene in Thomas Vinterberg's 2015 adaptation of Thomas Hardy's Far From The Madding Crowd. Bathsheba wore this outfit near the beginning of the film when she set off to take over her uncle's farm after inheriting the property from him.
The costume on display has been screen-matched to the one worn by the actress in the scene displayed in the exhibition hall.
Being new to the collection, this is the first time this costume has been seen in public.
