Clara's Governess Dress
Dr Who

This dress was worn by Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswin Oswald in the BBC science-fiction series Dr Who. The dress was worn in the 2012 Christmas special titled The Snowmen. Clara wore the dress when working as a governess for the Latimer family in 1892, during which time she met the eleventh doctor, played by Matt Smith. This was the doctor’s second encounter with an incarnation of the mysterious Clara Oswald.
The costume was added to this collection in February 2026 after being purchased from a BBC auction raising money for the BBC’s Children in Need charity.
