This costume was worn by Abigail Spencer in her starring role as Lucy Preston in the 2016 NBC time travel adventure series Timeless.
The outfit was used in season 1 episode 10 titled The Capture of Benedict Arnold. In it, the team questions whether they are fighting on the wrong side when they encounter Benedict Arnold during the American Revolution.
This is the first time this costume has been displayed in public since acquisition by the collection in 2019.
Abigail Spencer was born in Gulf Breeze, Florida, USA on 4th August 1981. Her first major role was as Rebecca Tyree in ABC soap opera All My Children. Spencer went on to play several guest roles before playing the recurring role of Dana Scott in the USA network legal drama Suits from 2011 to 2019.
In 2016 Spencer was cast in the lead role of history professor Lucy Preston in the NBC time travel adventure series Timeless.
She has also appeared in several films including Oz The Great and Powerful (2013), directed by Sam Raimi.
